I just saw a behind the scenes of how they made...
And it’s AMAZING. They all acted on a sound stage together, wearing mini versions of the costumes and doing everything the characters do. They took the sound from that to use as the voice-over but the awesome part is that they then took the visuals to use in order to render the characters and scenes. So it’s all organic as opposed to individuals standing in sound booths.
